Support that Drives Success
Together, we turn effort into achievement and goals into outcomes.
As members of the Fraternity, it is expected that each brother maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher each semester. School comes first. Studying together, mentoring, and Foundation scholarships help every member reach their potential.
SAE Foundation
Scholarship Program
The SAE Foundation awards merit-based scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. These scholarships recognize the highest standards of the Fraternity’s values: Friendship, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded each year.

“Scholarship is a mindset for Ohio Sigma, reflected in our 3.29 GPA—the highest among fraternities on campus. We maintain a structured Scholarship Program with written academic policies and clear expectations for success. Six hours of study tables are held throughout the week, and while mandatory for those under a 2.8 GPA, many brothers attend voluntarily to tutor or encourage peers. Our Scholarship Chair monitors progress throughout the semester and collaborates with struggling members to create personalized academic plans. We also participate in joint study sessions with other Greek chapters and engage alumni to connect members with scholarships, internships, and career paths.”

“The emphasis on academics is ingrained in every member of our fraternity. Massachusetts Delta strives to elevate that focus further, boasting a semester chapter GPA of 3.58, which ranks among the highest fraternity GPAs on campus. Our chapter attributes this immense success in part to the efforts of our Scholarship Chair. Each week, brothers attend a scholarship event called TGIT, "Thank goodness it's Tuesday," where they spend 1-2 hours collaborating on homework as a brotherhood. Events are also held regularly for academic advising, course registration, and group project collaboration.”

“Scholarship is a major priority for Indiana Epsilon. We require a minimum 2.7 GPA to remain in good standing and offer support to those below that threshold through meetings with the Scholarship Chair and academic coaching. We encourage members to strive to do their best remembering that their education will impact their future. Our Chapter Advisors encourage us to graduate with a GPA above 3.0. Each fall we have a Scholarship Dinner where we honor those who have achieved Dean's List and higher. Advisory Board members show their support by attending this dinner.”

“When one of us struggles, the rest step in—whether it’s tutoring, studying together, or simply helping with time management. We all understand that without academic success, the other aspects of fraternity life—like hosting events or planning formals—wouldn’t be possible.”
